CII Brand Summit: Connecting with the consumer is no rocket science says Balki in his short presentation at the CII Brand Summit held at Chennai. I have had the pleasure of working with Balki when I was with Lintas (now Lowe). He has been a simple, approachable and a nice man to work with. 

That apart, I think it happened to me at Lowe! Even I started to think of every creative from a consumer’s perspective and the consumer was always me! I have always checked with myself as to how I would react if I see any ad. It is a different story that my perspectives can remain only perspectives so long as I was handling MRF! But I have learnt communications by thinking of myself as the consumer… For every brand that I have come across!
